Baseball
Once boys are out of Tee Ball they will go into the baseball program where we offer several different leagues based on their age. They start in coach pitch and move up to kid pitch after two years. Each year more rules are added and by the age of 12 they are playing real baseball.
Ages
A Ball is for boys ages 7-8 which is our coach pitch league.
F-Minor is for boys ages 9-10 and the first year of kid pitch.
F-Major is for boys ages 11-12 and is the first year of real baseball.
E-League is for boys ages 13-15 and is a bridge league to playing in high school.
When
Our Spring League starts at the end of March and runs through June 30.
Where
Most practices and games are played at Kyle Park with an occasional practice at City Park. Kids in F-Minor or older may have one or two games at a neighboring partner city for an away game.
Practices
Practices begin at the end of March or early April. Most teams will practice at a designated day and time 2-3 times each week on a designated field or batting cages.
Games
Each team in every league will be scheduled a minimum of 10 games each season. The season will begin the last Saturday in April and will run through the middle of June. Each league will have a season ending tournament after the regular season ends.
Uniforms
A Ball uniforms consist of a team jersey, pants and a hat.
F-Minor uniforms consist of a team jersey, pants and a hat.
F-Major uniforms consist of a team jersey and a hat.
E-League uniforms consist of a team jersey and a hat.
Extra Costs
Every player in each league must have their own glove to play. It is also highly recommended that each player have their own helmet. Bats can be shared among teammates.
