A Ball is the next step after Tee Ball and is a league for 7-8 year old boys. This is a coach pitch league where coaches will continue to build hitting and defensive skills. Catchers are dressed in full catchers gear but there is no leading off or stealing.
The season starts in the beginning of April with 2-3 practices each week. Opening Day will be at the end of April and the season will end by June 30.
Most practices and all games are held at Kyle Park with most games being played on fields 9 and 10. There will be a total of 10-12 regular season games and then an end of season tournament. Games are held during the evenings Monday - Friday and Saturday mornings.
Uniforms for this league consist of a jersey, pants and a hat.
